Free birth control becoming standard for women
I found this statistic interesting, "The share of privately insured women who got their birth control pills without a copayment jumped to 56 percent, from 14 percent in 2012." Access to family planning services is one important way to help women and the economically disadvantaged. It just makes sense - birth control is FAR cheaper than an unintended child. It is good to hear that contraception coverage is being used, especially after the devestating blow to women's rights and individual rights made by the Supreme Court this session.
Female justices issue searing dissent over new contraception case
This Hobby Lobby decision is clearly incredibly destructive, and totally out of line. It seems right now that the women of the Supreme Court are the only ones with any sense at all here.
